RENAULT Laguna Coupé presents a luxury buzz saga co-signed by 12 leading European bloggers, a stylistic composition on the topic of “pure pleasure” in Paris, Berlin, Milan and London.
With its elegant and fluid style, the Renault Laguna Coupé is evocative of timeless beauty and the “pure pleasure” of an automobile. A design of creative excellence, it produced a sensation when first presented to the public during the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix last May.
Prior to the commercial launch of the Laguna Coupé in October 2008, the interactive device www.laguna-coupe.com, designed by tequilarapido. uses the exclusive Deep Zoom technology in Silverlight developed by Microsoft, a world première. This new technology offers a unique immersive experience making it possible to appreciate the Laguna Coupé’s finest details.
To extend the buzz on the Internet, tequilarapido. chose to collaborate with the agency Balistik*Art to conceive a saga of viral films launched early September on the topic of “pure pleasure”. The stylistic compositions were co-signed by a dozen leading European bloggers who are considered authorities in the fields of design, fashion and lifestyle. These “cinematographic” clips were shot during the summer in exceptional venues in Paris, Berlin, Milan and London. These films are an invitation to travel, to discover the world of luxury and of reverie through very personal views, and meet the demands of refined and hedonistic consumers.
The films were shot with an extraordinary new digital camera, the Red One, praised by important filmmakers such as Peter Jackson or Steven Soderbergh for the fine quality of its image. In order to optimize the broadcasting of the films in high definition on blogs, a specific widget was developed to overcome their dimensional limitations and to offer the viewers a real “cinema” experience.
